The London Stock Exchange Group has executed its first transaction on the newly launched Digital Markets Infrastructure platform, a blockchain-powered solution developed with Microsoft. Targeting private funds initially, the DMI platform streamlines issuance, tokenization, and post-trade services while operating within a regulated framework.
Built on Microsoft Azure, the infrastructure emphasizes security and interoperability, bridging traditional finance with distributed ledger technology. Early adopters include MembersCap's MCM Fund 1—facilitated by Archax for a Web3 foundation—and EJF Capital, which plans to tokenize portions of its funds.
